Vacation Rental Policies
Check-In time is after 2:00 p.m Pacific time and before 9:00 p.m. Check Out is 11:00 a.m. Pacific time. NO EARLY OR LATE CHECK-INS. We need to be courteous to other cabin owners.
RENTAL RATE: Varies per night per property plus a county occupancy tax of 10% per night. Weekly rates available.
We will not rent to anyone under the age of 21 years unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent and no minor may be left on premises without an adult guardian or parent.
Some properties are Non-Smoking.
Pets are permitted in some properties only with PRIOR APPROVAL. (See Terms & Conditions).
DEPOSIT – A deposit is required. This must be received with three (3) days of booking the reservation if paying by check. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent: however, it is fully refundable within fourteen (14) days of departure (Review Terms & Conditions).
PAYMENT – An advance payment of 50% of the rental rate is required 60 days before arrival. The advance payment will be applied toward the room rent. Please make payment in the form of Traveler's checks, bank money orders, cashiers checks or personal checks payable to Southern Sierra Real Estate or you may use a credit card (Mastercard & Visa are accepted). The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due fourteen (14) days prior to the arrival date.
CANCELLATIONS – A seven (7) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date will NOT incur a penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within 7 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.
Maximum Occupancy – The maximum number of guests varies per property, an additional charge and/or $15.00 per person per night will be assessed. THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES A TWO (2) NIGHT MINIMUM STAY; 3 NIGHT DURING HOLIDAY SEASONS. (See Terms & Conditions on longer minimum stays).
INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one time linen set up.
NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – While linens for the beds will be provided, there is NO daily cleaning service; bath towels, blankets and personal items (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash bags, etc.) are not included in the cabin rental rate.
CLEANING FEE: This cabin requires a cleaning fee in addition to the rental rate for cleaning the cabin and hauling the trash away (2 tall kitchen trash bags, each bag over that is $5) after your departure. This is not deducted from your Security deposit and is a separate cost calculated in the cabin rental total. This fee is subject to change for longer rental periods.
RATES CHANGES – All rates are subject to change without notice.
